EARTHQUAKE AND VOLCANO PRESENTATION PROJECT

1. Decide whether your are going to make your presentation about an earthquake or volcano

2. Choose either 2 earthquakes of volcanic eruptions, Discuss them with Mr Kirby and the rest of the class on Friday 6 May.

3. Once you know which earthquake/volcano you are going to investigate, re-view the presentation we saw in class about the volcano on Montserrat.

4. Research information about the earthquake/volcano. Include the following
a. Where the event happened – which part of the world? Location
b. How does this event occur?
c. What (type of) plates/boundaries were involved?
d. What happened?
e. What were the consequences? Deaths? Injured?
f. Any other useful information

5. You should use geographical terms to describe what happened

6. You should illustrate your presentation with photos, video clips diagrams etc

7. You will have time in ICT lessons and Ms Marie Pierre’s expertise to help you

The presentations should be ready for lessons on Wednesday 25 May,
